Griffin wrestling coach Brian Tucker has announced five members of his newest signing class. The five all wrestle at WPIAL schools. "This is an exciting time for Seton Hill Wrestling. We have an outstanding group of guys and it continues to attract talent." Coach Tucker stated discussing the group of commits. "The early group of signees has only seen the start of their success. We solidified our upper weights with this group. On top of that, they all love the sport of wrestling. They want to get better and want to be on the mat. As a staff and a program, those are the characteristics we can work with to continue to grow the success of the Seton Hill Wrestling program." Riley O'Mara joins Seton Hill from Bethel Park High School. He had a great junior season with 29 wins and fell one match shy of qualifying for the PIAA AAA State Tournament. In the match to qualify he lost to current Griffin Brandon Matthews placing him top six in the WPIAL. O'Mara placed 3rd in the 2019 Allegheny County Tournament. He was a Greco – Roman PA State Champion which qualified him for Fargo Nationals. O'Mara plans to compete at 184 pounds for the Griffins.
